Since my last post two new releases have surfaced online.
The first is the IFAR comp ONE. This track is inspired by the protests that toppled the government of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt. The title Ayman Mohyeldin is the name of a reporter for Al Jazeera who was detained during the protests, but who has since been released. This track includes samples of footage from some of Mohyeldin’s broadcasts for Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera is generous enough to allow others disseminate and even remix they’re work so if your a sound artist head over to english.aljazeera.com to check out they’re offerings.
The next release is on Love Torture Records, titled Voiture de musique. This release is a collection of sound collage and back beats I created from field recordings of a NASCAR event I was invited to by my aunt and uncle in Delaware. While not a fan of Nascar, I did enjoy capture these sounds and implore any fan of noise to go see one of the events at least once in your life. Also I made a music video for a track from this album called Rag Drag
